When you have scanned your font design and had it photocopied you must then adjust the levels (see last tutorial) to create a clean black & white design.
Select each letter from your original file using the RECTANGULAR MARQUEE TOOL (M) and then COPY (CMD+C) and PASTE (CMD+V) each letter as a new layer in your typesheet file. Label each layer accordingly to make it easy to select individual letters.
Using your typesheet you can Copy/Paste individual letters into a new document to create words in your own unique typography
Find an interesting texture for a background layer and save your work to your blog
